Why Storytellers?

The Storytellers Conference for Women started when a group of women got together and thought: "What kind of conference could we hold that would bring women of all ages and life stages together for a meaningful weekend that challenges not only their personal life, but propels them to reach out to their community?" That is when Storytellers was born.

Each of us has a story that is unique and beautiful. When we tell our stories (the good the bad and the ugly) something happens. There is power in a story. Too many women today are hesitant to tell their story because they are living with shame, regret, anger, or pain from their past. At a storyteller conference you will be encouraged to face whatever is holding you back from sharing yourself with the world.

 You can expect to:

-Learn biblical wisdom on breaking free from areas of strongholds

-Be stretched and challenged in areas of vulnerability and transparency

-Meet new people and develop friendships with other women

-Receive inspiration on how to use the stories and gifts God has

given you to be all that God is calling you to

Jesus has commanded us all to be a storyteller. The Samaritan woman at the well saw the power of a story. She had been living in shame, but when Jesus touched her life she let go of all that.

John 4:39 says "Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony,"

What people in your life are waiting to hear a story that could change them forever? What is holding you back from sharing your self with those in your circle of reach? Imagine what could happen when every woman devoted herself to being transparent, real, open, honest, and unafraid to share her life with other women?

The result could not just change our city- but the world.
